For your next tire change

How to use Bead Buddy

A light coat on the bead surfaces makes all the difference. A little goes a long way.

  1. Wear eye protection.
  2. Remove the old tire and clean the rim. Use a little Bead Buddy to help remove the old tire if needed.
  3. Lightly coat all bead-contact areas. Apply Bead Buddy where the tire and rim meet, as shown in the diagram.
  4. Install the new tire. The gel helps the bead slide into position.
  5. Seat the bead. Stay within the tire and rim manufacturers' pressure limits. Cover the top of the tire with a cloth to catch any spray, keeping the cloth clear of the bead.

Bead Buddy is mounting gel, not puncture sealant. Use Armor-Dilloz Red, Blue or Green inside the tire for puncture protection.
